Includes any of the following. • Any gallery in an assembly building (purpose group 5). • Any gallery in any other type of building if its area is more than half that of the space into which it projects. • A roof, unless it is accessible only for maintenance and repair.
- The building is regarded as a multi-storey building if both of the following apply. • There is more than one gallery. • The total aggregate area of all the galleries in one space is more than half the floor area of that space.
